Welcome to BSA Scopes.co.uk. BSA - Birmingham Small Arms are a company formed in 1861 but it was not until 1996 when the division of BSA Optics was born with the BSA Scopes product range. So what makes a great BSA Scope so great? Well BSA have spent decades in research and development creating only the best in gun accessories. There are 4 different BSA Scopes in mainstream production today - the Panther Series, the Essencial, the New Cats Eye Illuminated and the traditional Air Rifle Scopes. |

In a Little over a hundred years
BSA has grown from a small union of gunsmiths to become one of Britain's
important industrial groups. The story is not entirely one of steady progress
and expansion; there is drama and excitement too. And because BSA has served its
country more directly than most private concerns, its story is also part of
Britain's history. To begin at the very beginning, however, it is necessary to
go back much farther than a century - to the year 1689, infact, at the court of
William and Mary. King William III, worried by threats of invasion, sharply
criticised the practice of obtaining military weapons from Holland. He was
overheard by Sir Richard Newdegate, an MP for Warwickshire, who immediately spoke
up on behalf of his Birmingham constituents - among whom were many fine
gunsmiths. The result was a trial order for five of the leading Birmingham
smiths. It was satisfactorily carried out, and a firm contract was made between
the Government and the quintet for the supply of 200 snaphance muskets a month
"at seventeen shillings per piece, ready money". |

Panther Series
It has dual O-ring seals in the objective cell as well as dual O-rings in the longer European style ocular. When built into a one piece aluminium tube, you can be assured that it is waterproof. The exposed windage and elevation turrets have a patent pending "push/pull" locking system and are easy to adjust, even if wearing gloves. The PANTHER has fully multi-coated camera quality glass lenses to make it as bright as possible on those rainy days. Besides its good looks it has everything that an all weather hunter needs. |

Essencial
The new BSA ESSENTIAL scopes are probably the most versatile scopes in the BSA range. Not only do they come complete with the BSA standard camera quality, fully multicoated lenses, they also enable the quickest target aquisition available via the new BSA mini-mil dot reticle. This Reticle has finer calibrations than most of its competitors, and helps to remove a lot of the guess work when planting that perfect shot. |

New Cats Eye Illuminated
The objective and ocular lenses are fully multi coated to enhance the sight picture and give the brightest image, free from reflection and glare. The new illuminated floating cross reticle is glass etched and not only enables the shooter to see better in low light but allows quicker target aquisition. |

Air Riffle Scopes
They all have adjustable objectives that focus down to 10 yards which is a necessary feature. All AR models have target-style turrets with finger adjustable 1/4 MOA clicks for windage and elevation. All AIR RIFLE scopes are waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. |
